Fantastic: Beautiful dark drone that uses low voiced Gregorian-like chants as the foundation. Walls of thick dark bliss. Dark for sure. Solo Swedish artist active for 30 years: "he has systematically explored the broad field of post-industrial music, releasing solo records covering noise, power electronics, militant, dark ambient, drone, blackened noise, experimental and avant garde" (Wiki). Every piece is epic. 1) (4:44) creepy quiet intro, voices then foghorn/Gregorian drone chants, blends seamlessly into next. 2) (6:19) play w previous: drone ramps with electric sounding near distortion 3) (8:03) lovely tones join the chant drone, comes in waves 4) (5:48) drones continue with the electronics thicker, looping hypnotic, rhythmic tribal drums appear later 5)* (5:29) thick blissful noise, voice appears later lovely 6) (4:08) begins noisy, midway the voices take more center stage than before, heavily treated. 7) (5:37) begins somewhat organic, industrial , beautiful hypnotism. 8) (2:24) starts low drone w voice 9) (6:06) low drone chill, hypnotic with distant nuclear ordinance | ||
