Considered the world’s premier banjo player, Bela Fleck transcends musical genres and eradicates preconceived notions about where the banjo belongs. This is a concerto for banjo and orchestra, recorded with the Colorado Symphony on tracks 1-3 and with Brooklyn Rider Indie rock string quartet. Really a nice comparison of a banjo within an orchestra and a banjo within a string quartet. I really had no idea of the real possibilities of a banjo before this. Every track is great!

1.11:15 Three orchestral movements that demonstrate the value and
2. 9:42 worth of the banjo with the Symphony
3. 8:41

4. 14:37 Two selections played with the Brooklyn Rider String 5. 6:31 Quartet, demonstrating how the banjo works in conjunction with other strings in a playful and entertaining way.
