Rolling Blackouts C.F./The French Press. Would strongly recommend playing this record. Chill, laid-back indie rock with some great electric guitar. Most the songs have a relatively similar sound in that they’re relatively fast with chiming electric guitar. While most the songs give a relaxed sound, they do have a bit of a punk sound on a few songs as well, while the last on the album sounds slightly folky. This is the young Australian’s bands follow up EP to their first album, which came out in 2016. Expect to see lots more of them in the Indie rock seen in the years to come. Would recommend playing any of the songs. Sound a lot like Real Estate, DIIV, and Dick Driver. FCC clean. Favorites are 1,4,5,2.

1)**(5:26) Chipper, happy song driven by laid-back electric guitar. Sweet guitar solo midway through song, 2)*(3:19) Vocals feature more heavily than in first song. Cool beat change midway through song that works back to original beat, 3)(2:50) Not as laid back as most other songs – vocalist yells more, 4)**(2:27) Very fast, upbeat guitar throughout song. Dope electric guitar solo in middle of song, 5)**(4:07) Slower, more relaxed song. Driving bass throughout with electric guitar coming in over, 6)(5:00) Slightly more folky song than others with simple guitar and piano featuring at beginning. Remains slow throughout song.
