Kills, RTX come to mind: this began as a side project Jon Spencer started w his model actress wife over 20 years ago. While the Blues Explosion was busy laying the groundwork for The White Stripes, Black Keys to get rich and famous off of, Spencer used Boss Hog to explore sexy female vocs and more sultry funky rhythms. This, their first in 16 years, may their best yet as the funk and soul is coming thru. Sexy stuff, hip grinding, wow. Fuzzed vocs, killer organ. Quintron and Miss Pussycat would be proud.

1)* (3:48) kick ass sexy beats, keys, epic 2) (3:30) big hip swinging beat. 3) (2:53) spooky spy show pensive soul and funk 4) (3:40) cool fuzzed, tones of blues explosion 5)* (2:55) bad assed soulful with organ, menacing vocs 6) FCC (2:54) call response husband wife funky badass, a quick "shit". 7)* (2:49) cool organ, Quintron soul appears, cool shift midway 8) (2:16) formula X, catchy 9)* (3:49) slower, mindful cool 10)* (3:55) slow waltzing with super cool noises
