Trans Am, Psychic Paramount. Post metal progressive rock (?) with excellent experimental noise and prog elements. Very advanced stuff. Duo: Incredible drums by Greg Fox, guitar, bass, treated sax by Colin Stetson. Songs are long collages performed live or rather organically, not experimental studio creations. All four tracks are incredible, all instrumental.

1) (3:56) slow mid heavy slightly mathy beat, dense walls of synth and guitar 2)* (12:30) disjunct, almost an electronic malfunctioning CD quality at first followed by epic walls of tones, brass, strings sorta, epic drumming and guitar, bass, almost prog, no actually prog 3)* (11:57) builds slow dark ambient, intense drumming, walls of sound w sax buried in ensue, then scale to mid plod w soaring lush blankets of noise 4) (8:09) looped treated sax intro, slowly evolves into a slow trippy but musical piece with a doomy melody and feel, machine gun fire speed metal drums/walls of sound, epic.
