He has a slightly Raspy voice that is well suited for country. His voice sounds kind of like Willie Nelson and at times like the Boss. I would say that all the songs are about the same caliber, nothing is exceptional, nothing is terrible...All definitely country. Some entertaining lyrics- esp #2. Best for me were 6, 8, 9.

 Slow/Med- Country rock
 Slow- Ballad
 Med- Rocking
Slow- Country ballad
Slow- Acoustic, vocally dominant, expressive
 Slow/med- Almost a soul/funk feel
Slow- Progressive/easy rock sound, natural style?
Med- Country rock with a blues fell
Slow- Blues song with nice electric guitar
