He has a slightly Raspy voice that is well suited for country. His voice sounds kind of like Willie Nelson and at times like the Boss. I would say that all the songs are about the same caliber, nothing is exceptional, nothing is terrible...All definitely country. Some entertaining lyrics- esp #2. Best for me were 6, 8, 9.

5:Slow- Acoustic, vocally dominant, expressive
6: Slow/med- Almost a soul/funk feel
7: Slow- Progressive/easy rock sound, natural style?

9: Slow- Blues song with nice electric guitar
