The Sadies, “Northern Passages”

I don’t know much about this Canadian band, other than their sound is both familiar and unique. The band describe it as “a wild acid-folk-country-punk trip”, and I agree. Mainly Indie/Americana, best for me were 4, 8, 11.
1. slow/med – mellow, meandering “psych folk” tune
2. med/fast – reminds me of the distortion in the Jesus and Mary Chain’s music
3. med - ****FCC**** Americana/old school R & R
4. med – very true lyrics, relatable, familiar vibe
5. med – unique Americana/Songwriter hybrid
6. med – Indie/Americana sound, guitar based
7. med – country rock, very country song
8. med – Americana story
9. med – Indie/Americana rock
10. med – almost alternative rock vibe
11. med – most unique and perhaps best Americana music on album
