Lina Tullgren writes dark, poetic songs with expansive, billowing structures. On her debut LP, "Won", Tullgren's voice sounds distant and almost alien, as if projected from a different dimension. She relies on sparse instrumentation to flesh out her rousing lyrical wisdom; crafting open-minded songs that push the conventional boundaries of a singer-songwriter.
