Noisy post-punk flavored tribal dissonant noise/art rock from Brooklyn. Female vocs are guttural, screamed, bass is total hollow dissonance, guitar is strange – using a pitch change effect at times. Crashing crazy. Elements of No New York, Teenaged Jesus and the Jerks. The bass reminds me exactly of a band from the past, DNA?, as is a lot of this as it plunders a lot of past noise elements. Glaxo Babies guitars. KK Rampage, Fire Engines. Pussy Galore. Early Sonic Youth, Red Krayola, Pere Ubu even. The girl singing indecipherable sounds as crazy as the one from Daisy Chainsaw. FCC clean.
1)* (1:40) dissonant tribal post punk noise rock feel, evil screamed vocs 2) (2:41) halting dissonance guttural vocal approach, shifts kinda upbeat and swingy at end 3) (1:48) noise bass dissonance, halting, very post punk, bass reminds me exactly of a song from the 80’s its driving me crazy I cant remember 4) (2:24) halting again, strange pitch changed guitar is apparent 5)* (4:42) starts sparse disjunct, launches into a driving thing then a midpaced thing that toys with “rock” 6) (1:39) cowbell (Fire Engines) appears in intro, desperate halting 7) (1:04) playful upbeat swinging 8) (2:51) begins with womans voice “okay, okay..” crazy yoko ono feel, sparse dissonant post punk music gets heavy and slathering midway, crazed 9) (0:48) faster, crazed 10)* (3:27) “mellower”, decipherable lyrics almost, disturbing, early SY chiming guitars, “do it dead”
