Oakland-based electronic musician and accordionist, Onah Indigo, spent serious time in India and came up with this unusual melange of sounds; not my usual thing, but somehow captivating –maybe it's the accordion/Kerala forest sound samples combo with the South Indian music thrown in

NO FCC's; Favorite tracks: 2, 3, 5, 6,7

1-Toaee –4:34 – cricket percussion and accordion open out into loud vocals and louder synths/drone; interesting sounds and beat; a bit of a mash-up

*2- Response –3:40 – straight percussion starts and leads into broken sitar chord; more Indian influence here and more coherent; nice!

*3-Goalie-4:13 – very cool percussive sounds with trills, accordion sounds and receding echoes; bass synth and accordion have a sort of melody

4-Tampani –4:17-- higher pitched sustains with children's voice samples

*5—Mellow –3:52-- higher pitched synths make for somewhat ethereal sound that becomes tuneful with accordion

*6-- Descencion –5:12 – insect samples and accordion scales and intervals with bass samples underneath Indian vocals

*7—Oonana –5:30-- pretty accordion melody with drum and discontinuous bass sampling and vocals

8—Malibu –3:20 – accordion with Indian choral samples
