Summary: early 80’s English post punk/psychedelic, very catchy tracks with unique and experimental sounds tucked in.
Adventure Playground (3:03)- grainy bass, catchy vocals
A Day In Heaven (4:41)- slow beginning, vocals come in around 1:00, ends with a muffled echoing.
Scream Quietly (4:13)- synthesizer, vocals varying in pitch and intensity, end of song sounds like video game music, gloomy overall.
Mummy Your Not Watching Me (3:09)- repetitive lyrics, piano, super catchy
Brian’s Magic Car (3:56)- sounds like psychedelia, very fuzzy and upbeat
Where the Rainbow Ends (3:44)- almost sounds gazey, slightly jangly guitar, gentle vocals and big riffs
David Hockney’s Diaries (6:46)- intense guitar, vocals, percussion heavy, horns at 2:28
Painting By Numbers (3:26)- very upbeat and fun with catchy lyrics. drums and guitar are very harmonious.
Lichtenstein Painting (3:13)- low vocals, catchy song about a painting.
Magnificent Dream (2:58)- melodica!, low vocals, drums and guitar, happy song, sounds like indie from the 2010’s.
If I Could Write Poetry (5:08)- heavier and deeper guitar, more melodica, lyrics are hidden behind the veil of heavy guitar, fade ending.
