Album Review
Your Imaginary Friend

When you look up Doom in the dictionary a picture of these guys pops up. I’m serious, try it. Think: Sabbath jamming at the bottom of an abandoned mine shaft in Throneless’ homeland of Sweden amongst the littered remains of the disposed bodies of barren women, men who knew too much or collaborated with the enemy, those who slept with them, and children who refused to obey. Soul crushing long tracks soothe the angry beast within, lulling it to a disaffected detached complacency, blank eyes staring out, no longer viable, eternal stasis, dead inside.

1)* (9:32) deep dark doomy, Sabbath jamming at the bottom of an abandoned mine shaft in Norway amongst the littered remains of disposed bodies 2) (9:12) slow chill with chorused guitar, swingy slow beat, after ~2.5 minutes fuzz boxes kick in, but its still a restrained slow waltz overtone 3) (6:29) tribal beat on tom toms, the natives are accepting their inevitable final apocalypse, genocide, singing their swan song sadly, while the blue eyed devils encroach, then it becomes a slow march to the aforementioned mine-shaft 4)* (14:06) big huge doomy instrumental until past midway, soul crushing, perfection
