From Lyon, France: Super cool, lots of urgent punky power pop tunes, like Ramones on speed instead of glue, but also others that mix it up a bunch, rockin, new wave nods. Strange synth tones mixed in for a freaky sci-fi feel. For fans of early Oh Sees, Ty Segal, Ramones. Dirty Water Records continues its unrivaled onslaught of international garage/punk. Killer. 1)* (1:47) driving power pop punk, lets pogo 2) (1:05) even punkier and more driving 3)* (2:12) an organ appears in the power pop and things get weirder, swirling flanged, more noisy 4) (2:31) they take a breather and play a slower but still rockin song, more of a head nodder 5) FCCs (fuck) (2:25) cool weird synth tone intro, then the bouncy rockin driving stuff 6) (1:27) driving again 7)* (2:15) cool weird synth intro again, then an almost new wave dance tone to this 8) (2:12) the driving hard urgency returns 9) (1:41) fun upbeat, very Ramones-on-speed with the backup vocals 10) FCC comes very late “flying fuck” (2:54) strange synth intro again, more urgent pogoing 11) (3:00) lower profile at first rockin, not same balls out urgent, lower fi?
