– General Description: Cellist Daniel Levin has created the longest practice room exploration of the cello that I have ever heard recorded. Standing outside a practice room can be fun at times.
– FCC Compliant: YES
– Recommended Tracks: 4, 5
– Track Reviews:
1. (4:57) Assemblage - all percussion on the cello; assorted sounds
2. (5:12) Generator - pretty much exploring various sounds the cello can make; no melody
3. (8:54) Baksy-buku - extremely low audio for first minute; more percussion; very hard to hear; gets kind of wild and louder at 5:00
4. ***(11:01) The Dragon - percussive cello, some bowing; intriguing but almost silent 1:16–2:32; stops at 10:45
5. ***(4:18) Symbiotic - some angry-sounding bowing; fun almost
6. (5:47) Mountain of Butterflies - very low audio (don't think this will work for radio)
