Swoope was first, before being a rapper or a singer, a musician with diverse musical tastes and his level of musicianship, along with the diverse range of music he was raised on, shines through this release. He has collabed with and made guest appearances on many artist's releases, including artists such as Taelor Gray, but, like Kanye West, his artistry is more greatly displayed in his solo joints, and Sonshine is no different. His third full studio release pays homage to the trap (born and raised in Akron, OH, but how living in ATL), with epic tracks that are sure to get many listeners out of their seat, feeling his music, which, according to his website, is his goal. "I want you to feel my music more than you hear it. A feeling, emotion, sentiment, or moment in life will last a whole lot longer than something that's just pleasing sonically. If you react, it will last.”

And create a mood and emotion is exactly what this album does. Favorite tracks: 8, 9, 10.

1. 2:26 - Intro - Slow/ tempo. Opens with vocal effects, choir-like, carries the melody. Muted piano/electronic piano and kick with a bass guitar. heavily truncated snares.
*2. 3:38 - Med tempo. Heavy kicks and snares, with digitally modified sounds, staccato drums that share a distant resemblance to a xylophone or Djembe drum hits.
*3. 4:26 - Slow/Med tempo. Piano overlaid with horn hits, with a smooth horn and vocal section with muted drums that fade in and out.
*4. 2:58 - True to Trap - Med tempo. Sampled horn/sign sample, heavy kicks and modulated snares with a lot of post-production effects. A Slapper!
5. 3:46 - Med tempo. Piano intro with a bass guitar. - carry the melody Drums come in gradually but stay in the background with the kicks in the front. Littered with vocal samples, that, like the drum snares and hi hats, stay in the background.
*6. 3:36 - Med tempo. Starts off with what sounds like a clip of a man getting shot by police, which leads into an emotional "don't shoot" track. Kicks, synths, and vocal samples carry the melody.
7. 1:39 - Slow/med tempo. Synths and vocal harmonies in intro, leads into heavily truncated drum kit, which leads to a horn section - an almost R&B composition, VERY SHORT SONG. Intro for song #8.
**8. 4:38 - Slow tempo. Piano intro with talking that carries over from last song. Children playing in background. Very simple music; piano, bass guitar, and vocal samples, then later, the snare and hi-hats join the other instruments and sounds.
**9. 4:39 - Slow/med tempo. Church choir intro, with piano, leading into auto-tuned singing, then into a dope musical transition which includes organs, drums with truncated and modified snare sounds and with a bass guitar that's heavily modified, as well. Music changes about half-way through the song, before Taelor Gray joins the fray.
**10. 5:11 - Slow/Med tempo. Piano and human clapping, joined by bass guitar (modified, almost a sine wave), then drum kit.
*11. 3:44 - Med tempo. Opens with modulated synth sounds with vocal samples, then breaks down into another true trap beat. Kicks overlaid with bass guitar and an almost flamenco guitar-style effect, complete with beat-breaks and drops and adlibs that are brought to the front of the mix.
