Sam Ray, out of Maryland has taken the experimental ambient genre and put it through the dryer. Plenty of instruments used & experimented on, as well as serene field recordings from the great outdoors. This is rich in atmospherics, while being unsettling at the same time. Sounds for the adventurous…

Really nice release – loving 2 & 3
No FCC’s (Instrumentals)

1) ‘sitting in a diner’ (7.08) Glitch-tastic! You’ll have the listeners retuning for the entire 7 minutes. It’s a full on stop start blast of energy. The carousal ride theme stays just long enough to keep it in the forefront of your mind – You end up nodding along to sounds that have no real rhythm.
2) two_beautiful ways of moving_your hands (6.28) Hypnotic effected sounds that entice & keep gnawing away at your sensibilities. Not as caustic as the previous track, this could well have been an ambient dream if not for the gritty underbelly. Stops at 2.48 for 3 seconds & continues with lovely glitchy strings.
3) am i happy, singing_ (17.10) A long journey that’s well worth staying the course for - Mellow moods with a hazy screen of static interlaced with the delicate piano.
