Solo Organ - “Frequency Illusion”

Free form/improvisational organ; wall of sound from one person and their fuzzed out organ. Very cool instrumental tones. Some groovy and jammy and other noisey and more abstract.

Genre: instrumental music/improvisational blues/organ jazz

RIYL: instrumental music, wall of sound stuff, droney keys with fuzz.

FCCs: None

Favorites: 1 (long), 3,

1.) “Words” - 15:08 - Midtempo - starts off with fuzzy organ that lays the foundation for the extended jam. Builds up tension with soloing over the repetitive bassline. Meditative vibe. Lots of Tremelo vibes throughout. Reminds me of the first track off Funkadelic’s Maggot Brain récord
2.) “Only On Their Minds” - 5:41 - starts off abstract and noises and has a spooky vibe. Noise jam. Very fun tones, even though it’s not as groovy as the first track
3.) “Craig Baldwin’s Message” - 9:27 - Midtempo; Very bluesy vibe; bassline pulsates throughout the jam, with lots of soloing on top. Very cool sounds and ends suddenly.
4.) “Gray Cycler” - 3:35 - Noisey jam! Sounds like a helicopter landing in the middle of an apocalyptic battle.
5.) “When the Meteor Hits” - 5:19 - awesome fuzzy noise jam. False stop at around 1:55. Wall of sound brings it back with some epic drone melody (?)
