Cody delivers on a mix of honky-tonk rippers and heartsick ballads. An excellent
songwriter, he sounds a little like Johnny Paycheck.

– (4:39) Holy Water* Rocking, rollicking, dark, mid-tempo.
– (3:25) Must Be The Whiskey* Rueful drinking tune, heartache, mid, fine.
– (3:36) Somewhere Between I Love You And I’m Leavin’ Slower, sad, nicely done.
– (3:27) Lifers* Edgy, mid-tempo march, great pedal steel.
– (2:57) Big Last Name* Mid-up romp, funny lyrics.
– (4:23) Desert Wind* Slower tempo road song, nice.
– (4:03) Colorado Slow breakup weeper, decent but a bit pokey.
– (3:18) Can’t Quit Enough Stomping country march, just so-so.
– (4:39) 7th Floor* Dark & brooding love anthem, regret, slower, nice.
– (4:17) Stranger* Soft & reflective, best track of the album, lovely
– (4:00) Head Case* Reflective, mid, cello backing, nice.
