From Memphis: Singer songwriter fare, with full band. Hard rocking “sinister” elements permeate it all, but lyricism takes center and is augmented with use of cello, organ. Great stuff, excellent observations, story telling. For fans of the greats, Reed, Drake, Ferry.

1) (3:40) simple song really, mid paced, but nice fuzzy bass “skin your knees while giving head” isn’t any more of an FCC than Lou Reed’s line in his famous AM radio hit right? 2)* (2:33) upbeat power pop punky feel, cool to this 3) (4:14) classic indie rock feel, ballady about a girl of course 4) (2:51) piano, dark ballad about loneliness 5) (3:59) another slow mindful piano and organ led ballad 6)* (3:23) a bit more upbeat, catchy tom tom beat 7)** (3:35) excellent driving power pop with dark cool lyrics 8)** (3:07) great crunchy guitar, upbeat urgent and super high end power punky rock 9** (3:58) waltzy, slow, mindful, “who but a wife would sleep with me tonight?”; and people ask me why I got married again….
