It turns out that EJ is an unknown part of the Bay Area’s music scene from back in its heyday (‘68-’75). He even opened once for the Grateful Dead (‘69), before finding success for over 30 years as children’s performer, Eddie Spaghetti. He returns to his musical beginnings with this family friendly fusion of folk, country and pop. Some songs still retain the children’s performer vibe (4,9). I liked 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10.

*1. 4:02 - slow/med - predictable at beginning, but develops nicely
2. 2:49 - med - upbeat, sounds like a big band playing a pop tune
3. 3:50 - med - A BG folk pop song with nice trills
*4. 2:48 - med - upbeat, perfect song for AM’s in a preschool
*5. 4:50 - med - definitive country ballad
*6, 3:25 - slow/med - nice rock with vocals, piano and cello
7. 4:15 - med - country rock with steel guitar
*8. 3:10 - med - ditty makes me both hungry and nostalgic
*9. 2:18 - med - EJ’s most famous song (Kid style)
*10. 3:01 - slow/med - different sound, more flower child retro sound
11. 3:04 - med - regular road house country rock
12. 4:01 -med- perhaps the best lyrics of all in this rock tune
