Primo female indie rock w elements of dream/noise pop. Follow up to last years cassette self release (see library) released on vinyl by Hardly Art. With the name recognizable label comes a certain polished quality the previous lacked. Dreamy airy heavily reverbed/echoey vocs are still present but the noise rock is toned down replaced by heavy melodies. Chicago artist. For fans of Breeders, DOM, Slant Six, Cakelike, Casual Dots.

Appearing at DuNord this month, part of noise pop, don’t miss.

1) (3:13) mid paced epic pop with super hooky chorus, indie rock hit territory. 2) (2:14) cool backbeats and percussion in here, playful and catchy 3) (2:51) mid slow more introspective 4)* (2:18) upbeat great beat with quiet loud alternating feel 5) (2:56) quiet and dreamy, psych flavor 6) (2:49) mid paced builds into chorus 7)* (2:33) pleasant simple floating beat and strumming 8) (2:19) subdued trademark lala lala at this juncture. 9) (2:39) guitar and vocs only, mellow and pretty 10) (2:00) big strummy guitar and vocs intro 11) (2:33) upbeat and surf backbeat fun 12)* (4:12) dreamy mid surfy with a sexy sax, vocs and all smack of classic Motown or other romantic hits
