Another re-release by female Portland sample art musician aka Vektroid. Lush soundscapes, very narcotic, drony in places. Tape loop dependent, uses found sounds from media sources from 80’s, Japan. Similar in that respect to her other project “New Dreams Ltd”. But this has much more “listenable” electro compositions, almost synth downtempo pop. 1)* (8:27) lovely drone fade-in (quiet start), builds into a lovely hypnowash with looping tones, grows lovely and lush 2) (11:13) looped downtempo lush noise, uses heavily treated Japanese male voice lifted from television, shifts, multifaceted, false endings 3) (5:23) very loopy 4) (4:23) simple synth pop feel, downtempo 5) (8:49) quiet synths to start, melodic and choral 6) (6:24) organic feel in background sounds, synths provide simple melodic sense, soundtracky almost 7) (4:18) downtempo electro, with a beat, slightly jungley 8) (13:55) abstract sound collage 9) (9:19) very chill, downtempo, loopy collage, male voice returns | ||
