Siesta is the sophomore release by Malmö, Sweden guitar pop band Hater. Siesta is less whispery and less distorted than previous recordings. Jingly guitars a la C86 mixed with synthesizers (think mid 1980s modern rock) and more vivid vocals are the sounds of this record. Noteworthy.

11. Cut Me Loose (4:55) – Medium-up tempo. Part shoegaze, part guitar pop. Mellow and dramatic.
12. ***All That Your Dreams Taught Me (3:41) – Slow tempo. This cut could also be another single. Well-designed piece. Synths included.
13. **Seems So Hard (4:42) – Slow tempo. Think Alvvays meets El Mato A Un Policia Motorizado. Just perfect.
