Strange Ranger is a Portland indie rock band. All the tracks share the same crunchy, lo-fi aesthetic paired with sing-songy vocals, but explore a range of tempos and emotions. Some tracks (1, 2) lean pop, while others (3, 4) could read as the emo country people have been looking for since Pinegrove happened. All tracks are worth a listen!

*1. New Hair (1:53) – uptempo, melodic, sugary
2. I Want It to Be Dark (2:06) – slower, grounding bassline
3. The Wires (3:08) – acoustic guitar and piano focused, slight country twang and dissonance
*4. Remember (4:55) – another slow one, sparse, more twang, screamy bit towards the end
5. Birdies (1:21) – instrumental w/ piano, violin, distortion
