The Crossing - Alejandro Escovedo (2018) Leave it to Mexican-American AE to craft a timely commentary on immigration today while keeping to his powerful punk-ish sound. It documents the trials of two young immigrants (Salvo & Diego) to the USA. As usual his hard rocking cello sets the pace for many songs along with splendid support from the Prague Symphony Orchestra.
