From Austin: Bad-ass Americana with dose of 60’s psych pop. Think Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers crossed with the 13th Floor Elevators after a bump backstage: clean crunchy Fender guitar tones, organ, melodic storytelling singing. Twangs and baritone guitar. Band cites “Whiskey, dominoes, crime fiction, film noir, country music, and rock and roll” as their interests on the facebook and it fits well. Great stuff, play with their partners in crime Crack Pipes.

1) (3:17) marching snare gallop beat, strummy and melodic, anthemic. 2)* (2:39) riffage is 60’s London psych, tone is Tom Petty, ballady 3) (4:24) western twang and rhythm. 4) (2:21) 60’s gallopy melodic traditional feel 5) (4:23) male female duet, trad feel 6) (3:17) cowbell and lots of organ. 7) (3:20) big surf western twang 8) (2:37) western upbeat, “put that knife away”. 9) (3:30) chill, love song soft spoken, baritone guitar 10) (3:18) drivin rockin w searing guitar riffage 11) (2:00) Johnny cash style western. 12)* (4:53) slow dark evil theme 13) (2:51) boogie rockin.
