Jaron Nurse/Uncommon/Fox Fuse|
Jaron Nurse is a Trinidadian gospel artist and Uncommon is his first album. It runs the gamut of Caribbean musical styles including reggae, soca, calypso, and Indo-Caribbean, with a fair share of ballads, R&B, and all-round good music if you want to catch a lime or dance. In general, it’s an upbeat, fun, album with lyrics directed to the youth of his hometown audience but with a universal message. Fave tracks: 3, 4, 5, 7, 11. No FCCs. Review by Kesha of LJH.
