(CLEAN) 08. Mach-Hommy & Tha God Fahim - Bag Bag - (self release): [73 BPM] It is nice to see newcomers embrace true spitting and intricate wordplay as their foundation to musical creation. NY’s Mach-Hommy known for his anonymity and the ability to sell his CDs for $300 a pop teams up alongside Atlanta’s Tha God Fahim showing that underground east coast oriented hip hop is alive and well. On this track you get a dusty loop of a ballad like record of the 60’s with a vocal harmony and simple piano riff. The track starts off with what sounds like a half hearted cringe worthy mumble rap hook. Shortly after Tha God Fahim’s bars kick in and you are pulled back in. On the second verse Mach-Hommy actually explains the hook (obviously mocking mumble rap). Dope underground cut. Look out for these cats cuz they are doing something big. – M-SMOOTH
