Downer Edition

Sydney Australia punk band sounds a lot like they mainlined Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, Sisters of Mercy, Joy Division and painted their nails black. Driving beats that would be punk but the guitars are drenched in chorus pedal and vocals have a goth tone for sure, recalling the aforementioned, or even early MBV for that matter.
