Album Review
Your Imaginary Friend
Reviewed 2019-11-14
Full bore noise rock, walls of feedback, nuclear drums, distorted megaphone vocals, heavy and noisy in all ways. Eviction notice music. Disturbing and radical, pulls no punches. If the artist Death Squad had a full band. Low fi in most respects, probably high quality live recordings. The best ever; my new favorite band. Play any.

1)* (4:20) after a solid feedback symposium heavy beat noise rock with searing vocs appears, wow 2) (7:06) great noise feedback with sick vocals, no drums 3) (6:12) machine gun firing quality intense noise for first minute, then epic crashing of doom laden plodding wall of noise rock 4) (4:47) starts with analog synth basics, white noise, then a basic plod noise rock with buried distorto vocs 5) (5:49) begins with bizarre banshee wailing, near tribal noise, incorporates a famous sample by a radical activist threatening violence 6)* (5:18) heavy beat, more lucid but still super sick and dark 7) (5:25) slow grinding plod, Black Sabbath tri-tone riff 8) (6:39) a lovely dark low synth drone and walls of feedback, tom tom drums and sick wailing, hollow live sounding recording
