Burnt Pines, The

I don't know whether dream-folk is a genre but if not it sure is now with BP's debut release. Intriguing vocal harmonies backed by largely acoustic instrumentation make this mix of folk, pop and jazz worth a spin on any Indie oriented show. Key to their enchanting sound is Danish-born Kris Skovman's lightly accented vocals coupled with an array of folk instruments including piano, guitar, melodica and hand drums.
