Looking to beguile listeners with a unique pop infused folk/rock sound, then this disk is for you. In it Susan Cattaneo's Nashville country/pop styling mixed with indie/rocker Paul Hansen's guitar results in a quirky, yet highly listenable sound. Thematically it examines the lies & delusions we tell ourselves and others in order to get along in 21st century life. Sonically, their slightly disharmonious harmonies backed by Hansen's melodic guitar along with bass & synth accents make the whole disk a joy to listen to.
