Awesome local indie rock project! Great arrangements, refreshing poppy melodies, catchy as all hell, dancy, the whole deal. Plenty of that genuine bedroom pop feel (it was partially recorded using an iPhone during shelter in place). All tracks FCC Clean.
RIYL: The Church, The Replacements, Big Star, Stars, Still Woozy
TRY: 2, 1, 5
(*1.) (3:08) Big, snazzy indie rock with a distinctly 80’s feel. Splashy Strokes-esque guitar solo, rolling pianos, whisper-sung vocals, really great all around
(*2.) (2:51) Jangly indie rock with feel-good synth lines. Super catchy. A sizzlin guitar solo closes out the track
(3.) (1:58) Bouncy bass-forward with great layered male/female vox
(4.) (1:43) Twinkly intro, midtempo indie rock with a nice layered Stars feel
(*5.) (3:21) Yearning late-nite rock. (Think The Church, Chameleons, etc.) Jangly with breathy vocals. Punchy electric guitar solo
(6.) (2:49) Chanty bass-forward Wipers cover
(7.) (2:15) Fuzzy cover of the Television Personalities. Buried vocals, steady drums, the perfect amount of noise and static
