The synthpop dancerock band is back at it again. This album is a little more minor key than their previous releases, but that's post-COVID for you. The tracks that really hit are good grooves, but the ones that miss (mostly with guest vocalists) leave something to be desired.

Recommended tracks: 1*, 3, 4*, 5, 7, 8*, 10*, 11
1. (3:54) Starts off funky, then gets more electric. A toe tapper with piano riffs.
2. (5:12) Funky, fast little ditty with synthy keys.
3. (3:20) Eurythmics vibe to this one. Rockin' electric guitar and vocoder.
4. (3:27) Twinkling, multivocal, grooving lament.
5. (4:34) Starts off ethereal, then gets more intense with layered harmonies.
6. (4:13) Is the funk sexy? Minimal with a "funky" baseline and staccato guitar and tambourine.
7. (4:38) Ticking, echoing beat with falsetto interjections. A bouncy, minor key jam.
8. (4:59) My fave. Catchy, beautiful call-and-response gentle minor key jam. Vocoder again.
9. (5:27) Head bobber groove with choral backups. Slower, minor key. Rap feat. Cadence Weapon sounds like an afterthought.
10. (4:05) French space-out turns into a triumphant 80s anthem.
11. (3:57) Strings and harmonies great into a happy hi-hat drum beat. Wistful ending.
