Wildly imaginative electronic music from NYC's Adrian "Ace" Mojica. Punchy beats and diynamic textures abound. Rooted in techno, but anything goes.
All tracks instrumental and FCC CLEAN
RIYL: MoMA Ready, Kush Jones, Cousin, Batu, HAUS of ALTR, Ghostly International
Try 3, 13, 12, 11
1. (3:09) Stretched blown-out synthy intro, gets pretty noisy
2. (4:45) Quiet ambient track with subtle fluttery synth swells
*3. (6:39) Old school sci-fi techno with crazy acid effects
4. (5:56) Lush splashy pads with a bouncy bass beat anchor and lots of fast hi hats
5. (6:28) Minimal pulsing melody with layered percussion. Slowly builds in intensity
6. (3:18) Drifty ambient piece, gets more crunchy towards the end as the effects pick up
7. (4:41) Busy fluttery beatless synth wanderings
8. (7:13) Hypnotic techno with a punchy beat
9. (4:40) Mellow somewhat psychedelic loopy instrumental with gentle vibraphone
10. (5:29) Bubbly lo-fi techno, starts minimal, slowly gains strength, ends with some pretty furious percussion
*11. (4:49) Wildly-fluctuating synth lines a nice steady groove. What a lovely ride
*12. (6:34) Blown-out bass, dubby and heavy. Submerged and shimmery sounding
*13. (6:05) Midtempo lo-fi percussion with extended ringing chime effects (treated xylophone?). Perky synth lines enter at the 2 min mark. A nice syncopated bass kicks in halfway
14. (6:14) Really cerebral techno with lots of lo-fi elements and an acid twist
15. (4:00) Lush #bladerunnercore outro with a lot of nostalgic computer-screen glow
