Fantastic compilation of Brazilian tech house talents celebrating the 4th anniversary of Indica Label. A great mix of established names and newcomers, all contributing infectious, herbal-inspired tracks.
Try: 3, 1, 8, 5, 9
FCC CLEAN
1. (6:44) Very pleasant and tropical with oil drum flavored melodies
2. (7:24) Peppy, sunny with gentle airy melodies
3. (8:00) Mind-bending experimental minimal track with glitchy effects, strange percussive clanging and the occasional opera snippet. Far-out
4. (7:41) Spacey, cerebral, low-end with a punchy beat
5. (6:02) Chipper tech beat with gurgly effects and chopped vocal samples. Nice chunky baseline enters halfway through the track
6. (7:10) Stutter step beat blossoms into a sparse and atmospheric minimal track. Bleary and fuzzed out
7. (7:33) Chipper, clubby beat with some nice Roland drum machine skitters. Thicc bassline and a nice old school Detroit feel. Commentary about Detroit housing with vocal samples about inequality, home insurance policies, and crumbling building foundations
8. (7:24) Textured tech house with cascading delay effects and ringing post-rock guitar loops. A bit dark and moody
9. (6:18) Heavy, dubby. Nicely smoky low-end track with spacey vocal samples repeating "love and desire"
10. (7:17) Deep bouncy with some spicy electro synth
