A light, soulful spiritual jazz outing led by Chip Wickham – an artist originally from the UK – who splits his time here between the flute, alto flute, alto saxophone, and tenor saxophone. A groovin’ rhythm section with double bass and congas lays the foundation for keys, trumpet, flugelhorn, cello, violin, and the occasional vocal part to combine with Chip and create a variety of cinematic moods, drawing from strains of spiritual jazz, jazz-funk, and library music. All tracks are original compositions.
Released 9/5/2025.

1. *Swirling, ethereal, sax-centered spiritual jazz number. Slow intro w/ bass, keys, percussion, and sax. Drum groove comes in after ~50s, strings join soon after.
2. *Hazy, mysterious feel. Guest vocals over flute, strings, keys, and restless drum groove.
3. Looping and layering flute melodies bookend a trance-inducing flute solo.
4. Slow, mournful, alto-flute-centered track w/ horns, strings, and keys.
5. Dark, cinematic horns and strings over a funk groove w/ keys and flute.
6. *Warm, floating feel. Rhodes-centered w/ slow strings, deep-in-the-pocket drums, flute, horns, and congas.
7. Hypnotic groove, non-lyrical vocals, and a saxophone solo.
8. Short interlude w/ strings, flute, and cymbal rolls.
9. *Funky, mystical soul-jazz feel. Slow intro w/ flute, keys, strings, congas, and bass. Horns come in with the groove after ~40s, flute solo shortly after.
