Stubbornly amateurish and lo-fi, these snotnosed wankers steal from Pavement, Yo La Tengo, Dino Jr, etc. to create an indie-rock mess all their own.
1 actually starts at 3:08, with a bunch of crap preceding it that you should ignore.
2 and 3 are great songs, but they’re connected so you better fade out of 2 or it would be embarrassing. 4 has a long stupid intro, so ignore this altogether. (Experimental elect. git speed noodling into decent slop (?) tune.)
5 is a pretty solid midtempo rocker, brimming with that patented Archers angst-pathos feel. This EP is raw, rough-edged and apparently made specifically to be radio unfriendly (even to us), so beware! Great stuff. I Dig it.
