Piano/bass/drums trio doing European, chamber-style improv. 1- Improv, dark feel, smoothly shifting and nicely paced, not slow 2- Spritely, free-jazzy 3,5- Deep, slow, serious 6- Fifteen-minute centerpiece that opens in slow, bold jazz chords and breaks into some brisk, fast piano-trio work. Quite a treat if you prefer "regular" jazz. 7- Staggery free jazz, active in bursts, with madcap percussion and some spiky piano | ||
