This guy really surprised me with his depth and variety! I was expecting just some traditional Bluegrass (which he also does superbly), but where he really excels is in taking other types of songs and putting his own special mark on them, all the while keeping a hint of BG in the background. My faves: 1,3, 4, 5, 6, 10.

1. med- instrumental, inspired by spectacular drive
2. med- traditional Bluegrass sound
3. med-unusual tune written by folk song writing legend, Tom Paxton
4.med- instrumental- only Autry on banjo and mandolin wizard Tony Williamson- jamming!
5.med- uplifting, old Jerry Reed song redone acoustically
6. med- one of best banjo related instrumentals I’ve ever heard
7. med- jazz/swing vibe with the usual gang of strings and a guest singer
8. med- nice instrumental waltz by No. Georgia fiddler Jack Weeks
9. med- instrumental similar to native American tune, dedicated to Great Cherokee Nation
10. med- unusual Peruvian maritime tune first recorded by Jay Ungar
11. slow- bluegrass classic ballad penned by legend Pete Goble
12. med-most interesting version I’ve heard- only guitar and fiddle and a first take
