Avail pulls off a pretty good album here. Nice mix of hardcore, punk, and more poppy sounding stuff. Most songs are incredibly angry and the use of tons of back-up vocals helps this out by sounding like an angry mob at times. Nice crunching guitar that tends to have more complexity than most punk bands in their tempo changes and rhythms. 9/5/00 Katie P.

1) Fast hardcore. A bit slower on the chorus. Crunching guitar. Nice tempo/rhythm changes.
2) Starts quiet and kind of happy. Fast. A bit more punk/poppy with sing-songy vocals instead of screaming.
3) Nice distorted guitar. A bit more hardcore but chorus is more sing-songy. Slows down at points during the song but generally midtempo. Ending goes into next song so it will end abruptly if you have cd player on single.
4) Fast. A bit on the punk/poppy side. Nice guitar. Again chorus is more lyrical and sung instead of screaming.
5) Starts, stops, then starts again. Fast. Changes to a slower tempo soon after. Chorus is more punk rock, verse is more hardcore.
6) NOTE: says "fuck." Starts slower with guitar melody then vocals come in. Happy. Nice dancing beat. Song ending continues into next song.
7) NOTE: says "fuck." Fast, hardcore sound. Tempo changes between chorus and verse. Very angry song.
8) Starts with bass and long guitar chords. Punk/poppy fast midtempo. Happy feel to the song. Nice breakdown. Song ending continues into next song.
9) Starts quiet, midtempo, driving beat. Nice punk. Cool muted ending.
10) Hard, fast, hardcore. Good guitar solo at end.
11) Starts quiet. Picks up to a fast midtempo. Hardcore with cool guitar part in the middle of the song. Song ending continues into next song.
12) Starts quiet with mainly just drums. Guitar comes in louder later. Midtempo.
13) Starts full on and fast. Nice crunching guitar.
14) Fast. A bit more punk rock/poppy with hardcore aspects in the chorus. Nice crew back-up vocals.
