This is a great 2-disc compilation of the best of Lemmy & Co. (from the original trio of The Lemster, Philthy Phil & Fast Eddie through 2000's line-up. Some hard-to-find classics on this: the original 7" version of "Motorhead" (as done by Hawkwind before Mr. Kilmeister got the sack), "Please Don't Touch" ( a cover of a Johnny Kidd and the Pirates oldie from an ep w/ Girlschool as HeadGirl), a version of "Bomber" by Girlschool + the boys with their version of "Emergency" from that same disc, the original Stiff Records single version of 1977's "White Line Fever", some live cuts, and of course, those staples of Motorhead, e.g., "Deaf Forever", "Killed by Death", "Iron Fist", "Louie Louie","Too Late Too Late, "Orgasmatron", "The Chase is Better Than the Catch, and "Ace of Spades"...the one that got them noticed in the U.S. (they opened for Ozzy on his first solo tour, and they kicked ass, believe you me!) . For the novices who want a good starter kit, those of us old rotters who were rocking out to Hawkwind in the past, or any rivetheads that like to torment the rest of the world with the band's unique recipe of loud, harsh music, well-produced sound, and ounchy lyrics bellowed out by (almost) everybody's favorite golden-voiced song-stylist/bassist (and also Harry Shearer's inspiration for Spinal Tap's bass player)...Lemmy!
ALL cuts HxJx "picks-to-click".
