The second CD from the Bay Area band. Thirteen guitar-driven punk songs with a few other elements tossed in. There are echoes of all the old 80s punk bands – Misfits, TSOL, The Damned, etc. Most of the songs have a nocturnal/darkness theme. A bit like another popular Bay Area band, AFI. Vocals definitely remind me of Davey Havok (AFI’s singer). The most interesting tunes…
3. very cool, catchy punk-pop song. Not too heavy, not too light.
7. weird ska/rockabilly vibe here. Skittish guitar and more melodic singing, but heavy percussion.
8. begins with an old 60s surf guitar riff. One of the slower songs on the CD, but still has a pretty driving melody. Play this.
10. psycho country-punk! Very cool! If Mike Ness played with Willie Nelson’s band… play it!
