Flanger "Outer Space / Inner Space" [label: Ninja Tune]

A delightful rock, funk, jazz hybrid, and it's even more genre-bending than I've managed to capture with that summary. Lots of hand drums and other Latiny sounding things. And vibes, which turned up on my Tortoise radar. Refreshingly original to my ears. -nari

2. coffee houses & berets, upright bass, twinkling vibes, chill congas
3. Jaco bassin and proggy fuzzy guitar runs
4. straight up funk. don't know what else to call it. conga solo.
5. a wah-wah porn groove puntuated by jerky rhythmic abberations
6. cool, mellow Latin dance. jazz vibe run.
7. very infectious Latin groove; sax melody & shakers; quirky, fun
8. awesome slower groove, snappy drums, and outer space samples
