Sad that all bands who incorporate circuslike gypsy folky rhythms w/ gravelly vocals get compared to Tom Waits, but if the shoe fits… Lots of crazy percussion and organs and horns and soaring gravelly vocals, waltzes, circuslike. Not as smarmy as Waits, but original and dark nonetheless, with better syncopation and rhythms. More western in places.
1) upbeat wacky circuslike
2) slower waltzy
3) klezmerlike clarinet, excellent rhythm
4) folky train beat hillbilly feel
5) dark western feel
6) klezmer gypsy carny feel
7) dark slow swingy percussive epic ballad feel
8) upbeat Spanish western dark flare
9) upbeat folk
10) gypsy waits feel
11) mid waltz
