Fleshies "The Game of Futbol EP" - Local kids from Oakland crank out another nice one. The follow-up EP to their second album contains personal anthems for each member and 2 other songs about "the game." Overall this is great. They've got some nice pop-inspired punk that isn't too cute or silly. In fact, the music is mostly loud, fast, and fun. There are some nice hard core moments too. No bad words (as far as I could tell). All the songs are worth playing.

1) Starts fast and upbeat. Nice punk with pop catchiness. This is fun. I also like the crew yelling "high high high!" It has a nice hard core quality.
2) Much slower with silly lyrics about futbol (you know soccer). Really slow and dragging as if watching a game in slow motion. Vocals are often in falsetto. This is so great!
3) Loud and uptempo. Yelled vocals. Much more punk and hard rock feeling. Ooo - nice harsh guitar solo.
4) Dragging midtempo beat. Picks up to a faster beat about 45 sec. Into the song. Yelled lyrics.
5) Starts with goats bleating. Then a serious rock song with great lyrics. This is quite funny. Solid midtempo with fun guitar licks.
6) Faster with pounding drums. Nice driving song with great guitar riffs.
