Free improvisation, spirited and active, featuring sax, piano and drums. The piano’s great, kind of mix of cerebral chamber stuff and Cecil Taylor aggression/precision. John Dierker, from the Baltimore area, creates toneful, fluid figures on sax. Cool stuff.
1*- Fast and lush.
2- Quiet, short
3*- Soft but fast
5- Gets nice and loud
6- Jumpy fun, starts quiet
7*- Spastic, fast
8- Quiet fast tumbling
9- Quiet and still. Picks up later on.
10*- Mostly loud and wild, with room for unaccompanied drum and piano segment
