Beautiful voice showcased in a Celtic/Scandinavian
mix. Backed by a mix of guitars, flutes, drums and samples, it’s all held together by her lush vocals. At times, though a bit too self-consciously pretty, almost overdone simplicity. Kinda new-agey occasionally.
*1. Relaxed w/a driving, contemporary folkiness.
2. Melancholy Scottish song of love gone wrong.
*3. Dark samples, vox, guitar. Cool.
*4. Pretty & sad w/a rich melodic quality.
5. Slow a capella intro. A bit too pretty.
6. Another slow folk tale. Vox, guitar.
7. Nice vocals, with blend of guitar, pipes.
*8. Rather a creepy lullaby.
9. Uh oh…the pussycat dance mix. Disco folk? Odd.
10. Long flute intro, guitar, vox late in track. Mid-tempo.
