Thank God For Astronauts "Thank God For Astronauts" - Cute and groovy indie popsters. Two of the band members were formerly known as Kudzu Towers and this 7" is their first release under the new name (along with the 2 new members). It's quite nice. Fun music that is catchy without being boring. Recommended for anyone wanting to play indie-pop that sometimes has a slightly harder edge with distortion and noise.
My Picks: A1, B1
Katie P. 1/29/03

A1) Midtempo with a cute bouncy guitar riff. Catchy lyrics and fun. Cool breakdown section.
A2) Nice bass line. A little faster beat. Again pretty bouncy and fun. Cute keyboards and mellow vocals.

B1) Uptempo indie pop with distorted vocals. Vocals get clean and lyrics are pretty funny. Cool keyboards with some spacey noises.
B2) Mellower and slower. Dragging midtempo. Speeds up at times and also gets a little noisy. Fcc: says "fuck."
