A study in slow, spare noises from two guitars. Very quiet, with far too much reliance on indeterminate/random elements. Track 1, for example, has the sound of someone fiddling with a connection, creating an on/off hum that's just annoying. Elsewhere are the "percussive" sounds of someone spinning a coin or metal disk -- I appreciate the risk-taking, but it sounds lazy and amateurish.
These guys can do much better -- see their more active, more cohesive, more musical "Wires and Wooden Boxes" CD, or their noisy debut disk, "Left and Right."
